Heat Exchanger Services for the Oil & Gas Sector
AKS Heat Transfer provide heat exchanger services to the oil and gas sector, both in the UK and overseas. Our move into oil and gas was a successful one, with our first major contract being from the Buzzard Platform North Sea area. Since then, we have completed dozens of further heat exchange projects in countries including the UK, Brazil, Nigeria and across Europe.
We recently won the contract to upgrade the existing Alfa-Laval M30 Titanium Plate Pack for Maersk FPSO Peregrino. Operating off the coast of Brazil, we were chosen for our speed, versatility and the ability to meet the client’s needs. The original plate pack, consisting of 201×0.6 titanium plates, was increased to 281×0.8mm thickness plates with Viton G gaskets.
These types of projects serve to highlight our ability as a company to take on large-scale, international work. We always deliver to a detailed specification, using high-quality materials.
